PM Industries manufactures, supplies, and stocks Aluminium 7075 Round Bar. It's one of the strongest aluminium alloys in common production use. 7075 alloy belongs to the aluminium-zinc family, with zinc as the primary alloying element. Copper, magnesium, and chromium are also present in the composition. Together they produce a grade with tensile strength that rivals many steels, at roughly one-third the weight.

It's typically supplied in T6 temper, solution heat-treated and artificially aged to maximize strength and hardness. T651 temper, which adds stress relief through stretching, is also available and is preferred for precision machined components where dimensional stability matters.

Machinability is good. The alloy machines cleanly, hold tight dimensions, and produce smooth surface finishes. That makes it practical for complex precision parts in aerospace, defense, and high-performance applications where both geometry and mechanical integrity are critical.

Corrosion resistance is the trade-off with 7075. It's lower than grades like 5083 or 6061. In most service applications, anodizing, painting, or other protective coatings are applied to extend service life. When properly protected, the alloy performs reliably across its intended service conditions.

Fatigue resistance is good, which matters for components under repeated load cycles, vibration, or long-term dynamic stress. Aircraft structures, landing gear parts, and automotive racing components all benefit from that property.
