Track Compensating Arm for the M1A1 Military Battle Tank...

These compensating arms go into the side of the tank hull for the bogie wheels that run in the inside of the tank track and maintain track tension.  P & M furnished the Department of Defense 1200 Arms complete to their drawings and specifications individually foam in place packaged.  The work on this contract entailed extensive machining, welding, and assembly.  P & M purchased 300,000 lbs. of steel forgings to fulfill these contracts.
